I'm a Linux enthusiast, systems engineer, and occasional open source contributor, also a cloud native advocate at heart. I care more about why something breaks than just fixing it, which is probably why I ended up in infrastructure and cybersecurity. I've spent years across cloud platforms, incident response, and system administration.

now

Working as Cloud Specialist at Mibanco, managing infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments. Building this blog in Rust with Axum because I want to improve my Rusty skills.

background

Started with Unix systems and raw Linux. Years of packaging, kernel tinkering, and system administration. Today I work across multicloud environments, AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud, designing and operating infrastructure at scale. Deep into Kubernetes, CKA and CKS certified, RHCSA too. I care more about understanding why something breaks than just fixing it.

what I write about

Linux internals, real-time systems, and the Linux desktop. Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes. Open source tools and protocols. And book reviews — crime fiction, literary fiction, and whatever else pulls me in.

If you have a hard problem you're stuck on, don't hesitate to reach out — we can solve it together. I'm just a message away.
